HKWS International Women’s Day Lunch
This IWD, stay local and make an impact in your community at the HKWS International Women's Day Lunch.
2025 marks 10 years of Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women's Shelter - empowering women in crisis to create a better future.
It is a time to acknowledge the courage and strength of women who have rebuilt their lives after experiencing domestic violence and homelessness, to celebrate the people in our community whose vision and commitment created HKWS, and to thank all who continue to support our vital work. And it is a time to look to the future.
Our first celebration of this milestone year kicks off with our very popular International Women's Day Lunch, 27 February 2025.
IWD week recognises the achievements of women globally and continues to push boundaries, create safe spaces, develop ideas and programs to empower women and provide them with the safety, security and support they need.
